Blanket Fanworks Permission:

You do not need to ask me in order to create personal use/non-commercial remixes, fanart, fanfic, icons, headers, or any other fanwork of my art and characters. I'd love to see your work though, so please email me at contact@scumsuck.com, or DM me on any social media platform, to let me see your art! I may not always be able to comment, but I'm always grateful when people find inspiration from me and choose to create work based off of my art.

Attribution: Please credit me as SCUMSUCK whenever possible, and link back to the original work that you're playing off of. If you cannot find a specific link to that work, link to "scumsuck.com". If you are on a social media platform that I am also on (such as twitter, tumblr, mastodon, instagram, ao3), feel free to use the @ function for my username on that platform to attribute me. You may also tag me in an image, or use the gifting function on the site.

Non-Commercial: I love to see fanwork for personal use, and non-commercial use. This means that you won't sell your fanwork of my work for profit. If you develop your own work into its own world with its own characters with different names, that you can't tell is based off of my work? Then feel free to do whatever commercial usage you want with your now-original work.

Share-alike: I hope that you will share your work under a similar permission set as mine: that is to say, your work will be free to view and download, and that you will allow other people create fanwork of your work as well.

Fanworks on my website

I have a page for fanart I've recieved, and I often link to fics written about my characters on their pages as well. I usually ask before I display your work on my site. Feel free to decline permission for me to display your work. And feel free to email me at any time saying you would like me to take your work down from display. I'll do so as soon as possible, no questions asked.

Archiving and Distribution Policy

If you re-upload or archive my art or writing to a website, please check first to see if I am on that website (such as twitter, tumblr, instagram, mastodon). I would prefer if you shared my art or writing from my account before re-uploading it.

If I do not have an account on the website you wish to share my art to, please attribute me as SCUMSUCK and link back to me at scumsuck.com.

Feel free to create translations of my work into languages other than English.

You may print my art and writing for personal use, such as posters, zines, or fanbound books. I may also have digital files available to download on my store so that you can print your own stickers or body pillows. Those are also free to print for small-scale personal use.

Do not print my art and writing for commercial use without my expressed written permission and consent.

Memento Mori

If I am deceased, in a coma, or otherwise unable to express permission and consent: All the rights to my work go to my partner Shane. He may then decide what to do with my work. If he is also deceased or in a coma, my work goes into the public domain.
