Now let's get FUNKY. Is this what the kids call darkwave? In any case, the story of Basile and Alois's youth takes place in the 70's-80's. This sets the era's tone. It's night, it's bursts of white light, it's driving in the dark not to be seen.

A callback to one of the antagonists of Silence of The Lambs, Buffalo Bill. Much like Buffalo Bill, Alois is not transsexual though they perform a certain type of femininity. Alois specifically is transcendent. He transcends flesh and form to become whatever beautiful moth is in his whims. This song is beautiful too!

The video for this song features the wrestler Goldust, who slinks around with pink latex and a black wig in a hot tub. Licking, shimmying, crawling, moving like an erotic grub. The fuzzy dark basement sound is perfect for these two, if they had a band it'd sound like this.

Alois needs parts for his experiments, and what better place to get them but a graveyard? The song is a self-aggravating sassy lil' number with synthetic blares, which feels good for Alois's ego.

Mood music. Driving tunes. They're in the windowless back, being taken to their unknown destination. They will perform their duties. One a surgeon, one an enforcer. They get the job done. Blinding white lights flood the room. They will be locked again in the back, and dropped off to repeat this again the next day.

Miami Vice music. They're ain't cops, but they're two guys who gotta watch their asses for cops n' robbers y'know? Hot summer nights, cool day breeze. I should draw them in them Miami Vice suits. Gotta get that chest hair aired out.

They're buddies, ok! Like brothers! Even closer. Connected by a beating vein. Drugs guns and women together.

Could a medic and a spy ever truly understand each other? They're close friends, but would never tell each other their secrets. Only share the secrets they make together. Alois would make a deal with the devil to keep them together. The monkey paw curls.

Both of them are reptiles. Cold-blooded, fornicating with each other for warmth they cannot produce nor give. But they're instinctively attracted to each other like insects to honey. They'll stick to the resin, they'll drown. But wouldn't you be happy dying with a throat full of sweetness?

The sound is everything flying by in blurred colors. Paint daubs of primaries on top of neutrals Love tastes like honey again, two stuck together in an irresistible toxic concotion.

Basile immigrates to the west coast of the United States when he's younger. He moves to the east coast in his older age. And there were oh so many things to love about the west coast.

A center of entertainment, power structures, people taking advantage of each other. You gotta make it in LA. Break it all, and move away. Side note, I've drawn Liv and Basile from screenshots of this video. This song connects the Medispy story to Ollie n' Basile.

Oh HELL YEAH!!! The vocals melt into the disco, which is far ahead of its time in synths and texture. Basile and Alois gotta enjoy themselves sometimes ya know? Get funky in the club.
